Chapter 8

When autumn rises, one shall appear to open this Way.
Until then, the Shikumi (the Kami’s design) shall be set down in writing.
Read it well; let it rest deep within the belly.

When the hour comes, do not cry in haste,
“I knew nothing of this.”
All shall be made known before that time.

Let those with affinity, each in turn,
read this word well
and keep it deep within the belly.
