Chapter 10

Turn your eyes toward the Kami, and the Kami shall be reflected;
turn your ears toward the Kami, and the Kami shall be heard;
turn your heart toward the Kami, and within the heart the Kami shall be reflected.

According to the sweeping, so shall the Kami be reflected.
From those who have swept clean, the figure of the Kami shines forth —
as much as the sweeping is done, so much shall it shine.
