Dead Zone Underground Habitation (Rockies-Kansas)

Rocky Mountains から Kansas 間の地表上 "dead zone" — tumbleweed / bush / plant / tree もない不毛地帯だが、地下には非有機的存在の都市が稼働。Kim が Durango から New England へ物理移動する途中で観測。非人間種族の領土闘争の一部、Machine infrastructure の surface camouflage として機能。
