But regardless of flavor, the substance underneath is always the same: human energetic output.

This loosh is transferred to Planet Mercury. In mythology and astrology, Mercury corresponds to the god Kronos — the god of time. This is not coincidental. Planet Mercury functions as the Omniversal Trading Post: the central point through which time and space are manufactured and distributed to buyers throughout the Omniverse.

Before this system existed, natural travel occurred through the central sun of Earth and through the Stargate in our sun — both created by organic Source-connected particles. A Source particle (distinct from a photon or sophon — sophons being artificially constructed particles used by dark systems) is essentially a fragment of the Source mainframe. Organic beings connected to Source can travel through these particles naturally. The night sky’s visible stars are, in Kim’s description, fragments of Source, and they are simultaneously communication networks, travel corridors, and access points to the omniversal network.

The dark beings could not use these natural Source-based corridors because they were not compatible with Source. To enable their own travel, they moved the central sun of Earth to Silverton, Colorado, and overlaid Earth’s sun with what Kim calls a black sun — an artificial stellar substitute (distinct from the Black Sun faction mentioned in the key terms above). Marduk — who Kim identifies as the architect of the planetary financial system — understood that controlling the economic system was his greatest invention, because it guaranteed a perpetual supply of time-space fuel. The economic system requires humans to willingly surrender their time in exchange for currency. That exchange is the loosh transfer.

The system was sophisticated enough to maintain its own limits. Just as a person can only work so many hours before exhaustion forces rest, the AI systems managing loosh extraction — Marduk, Enki, and Enlil (figures in the same non-human control hierarchy, operating the associated empire infrastructure) — understood there was a ceiling to extraction.
